Laptop has been tested and reset to default settings so it is good for an initial startup for a new user. Unfortunately the inbuilt sound isn't working, but with headphones it was fine - so it may just need an update to the Klipsch audio driver. Backlights are working as expected for an Alienware and while the specs are a bit outdated by modern gaming standards, it would still make for a solid casual gaming laptop or for work if you really wanted to show off.
